Director works on site with her infant in the office on the premises, although not in ratio or in the classrooms. Dispute Description: As we shared during our phone conversation, this finding of "valid" should be reversed. The following are the facts that outline our disagreement with this finding: 1 - Direction was not working in a Director role or in any daycare capacity whenever she was at the center with her infant. Therefore, she was not acting as staff. a- Due to COVID, the Director's phone was needed to be utilized as a hot spot for school-age remote learning, so the Director and the owner looked at the WACs and did not interpret this action as a violation. b-The Director was not engaged in any daycare business while in the office with her infant. c-All staff knew that she was not there. 2 - The interpretation of valid does not reflect the intent of the WAC. 3 - This was not a blatant attempt to "hide a child" and disregard our license capacity or age groups.
